Atlantis Swimming Club have just finished the final weekend of the Winter County Competition comfortably in first position with a full count of 107 medals in total. 

There were some outstanding performances from the Atlantis swimmers with the club scooping an impressive 40 gold, 33 silver and 34 bronze medals!

The 100-meter individual medley championship was the climax of the competition this was contested between all the top swimmers. Atlantis hotshot 16-year-old Beth Britton came away with the junior title. One of the club's younger swimmers Issy Hayes picked up five golds along with the Top Girl age group trophy.

Junior boys performed out of their skins with some great gold medals from freestyle specialist Daryan De Klerk, breaststroke hotshots Jacob Davis and Ryan Gant and the formidable machine Michael Pallister.

Talented 10 year old Amber Ranson notched up several golds along with her training partner Olivia Round-Pitman who was still swimming out of her skin despite picking up an injury.

The ever dependable regional and national girls squad were well represented with multiple golds won by Ethel Whyman, Freya Fulcher, Rebecca Barber, Beth Britton, Evie Clark, Lily Davis, Jade Stocker and Amelia Wright with some phenomenal breaststroke swims and not to be outdone James Hartley won an impressive set of gold medals making sure the girls donít get all the bragging rights!

Atlantis moves forward to a busy winter schedule of competition hoping to continue with its winning ways.
