Silver turns to Gold in Norwich

19th January 2015

A strong represtentation of Silver Squad, two members of County Development and one member of Bronze Plus travelled to the home of the Canaries for Norwich Resolution Meet this weekend. Andy Lobley " I like to take Silver to a meet where they don't know the reputation of other swimmers and have to fend for themselves living out of a suitcase and travelling to and from the meet at least once a year and this year it was great to have a couple of members from other squads join us too" The standard of expectation was set high with Andy asking for 20 Gold medals per day and the squad of swimmers rose to the occassion. Producing 76 County Qualifying Times, 26 South East Regional Times, 46 Gold Medals, 41 Silver Medals, 28 Bronze Medals and 12 Speeding tickets the squad more than satisfied the coaches requirements with some truly inspiring swimming. A great weekend of swimming along with some quality time together made for an all round satisfying week. A special mention for James Hartley who came away with Top Boy of the Meet and his squad mate Aiden Sparling who finished second.
