Kingsland Paper Trophy

22nd September 2014

Atlantis were out in voice and determination on Saturday competing in the Kingsland Paper Trophy hosted by our close neighbours Crawley at K2. Atlantis faced opposition from Crawley, Littlehampton, East Grinstead and Beacon, all of whom are regarded as some of the top clubs in Sussex. Atlantis have a very uncanny knack of performing well in team competitions and Saturday was no exception. Andy Lobley was thrilled with the team and said " I really couldn't ask for anymore from tonight. We were competitive throughout, we got no DQ's and many of our swimmers were asked to swim in higher age groups and did so like top swimmers. I was delighted with our work underwater - it really did stand out tonight and I hope the whole team are proud. Although we always want to win, we gave East Grinstead a very close run tonight and the result is very satisfying".

The season is now firmly underway and we look forward to the next event.

Times from the event cannot be used but will be published to the competitors for their own records.
