Welcome to Atlantis Swimming Club
Swimming is Britain's most popular participation sport; it's also one of our most successful Olympic sports. And swimming isn't just a sport - it's a healthy way of life.
Atlantis Swimming Club - which recently celebrated its 30th Anniversary - is one of Sussex's leading competitive swimming clubs. In 2011 4 Atlantis swimmers achieved national qualifying times.
We provide a structured, safe, motivating and friendly environment in which all our swimmers have the opportunity to realise their full potential. So at all times we strive for excellence; aspire to success; recognise and celebrate endeavour - and we never forget the importance of having fun along the way.
We offer swimming training and competition for all ages 7 and above at three centres: The Pavilions In The Park, Horsham, Billingshurst Leisure Centre and Steyning Leisure Centre. In total we deliver over 40 hours of training per week under the leadership of former international coach Bill Penny and his skilled and experienced team of 19 coaches. We also offer regular long course training in a 50m pool and land training for swimmers aiming to compete at national and regional level.
Atlantis is affiliated to the South East Region of the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) and has been awarded the ASA's Swim 21 quality accreditation.
So if you want to be part of a supportive team, to swim better and faster, make new friends and have fun, then Atlantis could well be the club for you.
